Moon Guitars LLC was founded by luthier Kyle Wolfe in 2017 as a repair shop that offered unique custom build options.
Kyle's odyssey in the guitar industry began a decade earlier, in 2007, within the walls of a local repair shop. It was there that the seeds of guitar design were sown, germinating into what would become a full-blown passion for creating exceptional instruments. Crafting custom replicas for personal use evolved into fulfilling the bespoke dreams of customers, all while honing his skills amidst strings and frets.
In early 2020, the decision was made to cease repair services, instead channeling all energy and expertise into making guitars. For Kyle, quality is not just a priority—it's the essence of every piece that leaves the workshop, reflecting his commitment to excellence as the company continues to flourish as a one-man symphony.
While custom orders have been the primary focus in the past, the future holds a new melody for Moon Guitars™. As we look toward 2024, our focus will shift towards crafting more production-style models. This evolution will allow us to grow sustainably, reaching new audiences and bringing the joy of Moon Guitars to even more musicians.
